Ayosdito.ph will merge with OLX.ph

I was browsing online, and I notice a notification on the upper portion of the browser. I was surprise when I read the news that Ayosdito.ph will join Olx.ph. The two giant online selling website will be merging, and that's going to be huge.

Ayosdito.ph and Olx.ph
Ayosdito.ph and Olx.ph
According to their website, the merge will start January 16, 2015.  If you have an existing ayosdito ad, it will automatically transfer to olx.ph by this date. They also sent a news letter that if you have an existing ad in ayosdito.com you can edit it before January 13.

I think Olx has a better system than ayosdito, and because of this merge it would be beneficial to us online buyers and sellers. It will also make your online shopping experience easy, more variety of items, and probably more secure since it would be easier to identify online scammers like the scam online store cheapdito.com.

Microsoft Nokia 215 and Nokia 215 dual SIM Quick Review

I was browsing the internet when I saw a post by GMA News regarding Microsoft's new internet-ready phone that sells for just over Php 1,000.00. It immediately caught my attention, and I started reading about it. Here's what I learned about this new phone by Microsoft.

Nokia 215 and Nokia 215 Dual-SIM
Nokia 215 and Nokia 215 Dual-SIM
There are two models released by Microsoft this week, the Nokia 215 and Nokia 215 Dual SIM. This phone is said to aim in helping people in emerging markets.

According to a blog post in lumiaconversations.microsoft.com, "With a price tag of just $29 before taxes and subsidies, Nokia 215 is our most affordable internet-ready entry-level phone yet, perfectly suited for first-time mobile phone buyers or as a secondary phone for just about anyone".

This phone is straight forward user friendly device. I myself is tired of following the latest trends of cellphones out there. Almost every month Samsung, Apple, etc... releases new and improve models of their phones. It's just hard to keep up specially if you're on a budget.

What's really important in a phone for you? Is it the Clash of clans, Plants and zombies, etc...? Then this phone is not for you. This is a classic style cellphone with basic call and text functionality, and added feature Internet using opera mini, dual sim, MP3, bluetooth, and more.  Read more about it's features below.

Features:

It comes with a preinstalled Facebook and Messenger with instant notifications, twitter, bing search, and Opera Mini browser. It also contains a SLAM technology, which allows you to pair a bluetooth headset or speaker, and share contents.

Another feature which I find really cool is, it has a built-in MP3 player and FM radio, and flashlight.

Although this phone can only support 2G network, it is has long standby time, and durability which Nokia is known of.

It has a superb battery life, that would last up to 29 days on a single charge, and the Dual SIM can last 21 days.

According to Microsoft, the Nokia 215 and Nokia 215 dual SIM will roll out first in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe first quarter this year.

The New App Launcher for Microsoft Account

I've been using Microsoft account for years now. Starting when it was still "hotmail" until Microsoft has merged live.com, msn.com, and outlook.com into one Microsoft account. Through the years, I have seen a lot of improvements from security verification, interface, and now the New App Launcher.

Then New App launcher for outlook.com provides a single point access to Microsoft personal services you may use daily like People, Calendar, Onedrive and Office online.
Microsoft said that launching apps is now the same, whether you're using Office 365 at work, or attending to your personal life in Outlook.com; whether you are sharing a document from OneDrive, co-authoring a Word doc or Excel spreadsheet in your browser, or making a Skype call from Outlook.com.

Code name "Spartan" The New Browser for Windows 10

According to reports, the Software giant Microsoft will be adding a new browser for the Windows 10 as an alternative for Internet Explorer.

A more lightweight and user friendly browser is being expected for Spartan, it is said that it would look and feel more like Firefox, and Google Chrome.  Spartan is not an upgrade for Internet Explorer, instead it is entirely a new product from Microsoft which will be available built-in to Windows 10.

As of now this information remains to be a rumor, and could be confirmed during Microsoft's special event in Redmond on January 21. This date is also set by Microsoft to present the new features of Windows 10.

Windows 10 is believed to be the best operating system ever released by Microsoft, with the features combined the futuristic of Windows 8, and the simplicity of Windows 7 but with a supreme faster performance.

Tizen the New Operating System for Samsung Smart TV

According to Yahoo news, Samsung Electronics will release a smart television equipped with a new platform built around the Tizen operating system this year. The south Korean electronics giant seeks to lower its reliance on Google.

The latest operating system for Samsung Smart TV

Samsung said all of its new web-associated TV sets would be run by Tizen. They will be showing a preview of the smart tv at the consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas next week. Accoring to Lee Won-Jin in a statement, a Samsung executive vice president, "Building our Smart Platform around Tizen is a groundbreaking step towards a much more intelligent and integrated system."

"Tizen not only enriches the entertainment experience for our customers today, but unlocks great potentials for the future in home entertainment," he said.

Samsung, the world's biggest mobile phone maker, has concentrated on creating the Tizen operating system together with companies led by Intel to lower its dependence on Google's Android operating system.

In the future, Tizen will be applied on mobile devices, digital cameras and home appliances. Samsung has taken off Tizen-based digital cameras and wearable smart watches this year.
